DID YOU KNOW the St. John Ambulance Medical First Response Service Unit is comprised of volunteers from a variety of backgrounds who log approximately 20,000 hours of community service in Mississauga each year?

Why join?

How much does it cost to join?

The St. John Ambulance Medical First Response Services is a no cost volunteer group.

Can anyone join?

Yes! You will need to have a current St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid and CPR "C" certificate, and the minimum age for enrollment in the Medical First Response Services is 18 (16 if you are transferring from the Youth component). There is no upper age limit to the Division; membership is solely based on ability.

When do we meet?

Every other Tuesday evening from 7:30pm - 9:00pm. You can start at any time during the year. Please contact our Recruiting Officer to express your interest and we will set up a time for you to attend a meeting.

Where do I go?

The Trainings are held at our Northeast Mississauga location at 6740 Davand Drive. This is in the Dixie & Derry Rd. area of Mississauga. Meetings are held at our Matheson location at 110 Matheson Blvd. W., Suite 110.

You may join the Medical First Response Services Team at any time. Call (905) 568-1905 and let us know which Tuesday you would like to start. We will forward your name and phone number to the Medical First Responder Unit Chief so he will be expecting you. Come out for one evening and see how you like it. We're sure you'll want to come again!
